Field Trips
Field trips are designed to enhance classroom instruction and are considered an important part of the school curriculum. However, due to the nature of the activities some students have difficulty handling the change in procedures and circumstances and may be prohibited from participating unless their parents or guardian accompanies them. Students may be prohibited from participating if they have a history of disruptive behavior. Students who have been denied the privilege of riding a school bus or are currently suspended from school or the bus cannot participate in a field trip. All students are required to accompany the class on the bus when attending field trips and are encouraged to return to campus on the bus as well. Parents may bring their own children home from the trip, but are not allowed to bring others unless this has been cleared through the principal in advance.
