· Student Support Chair: Guidance Counselor ext 224
· 504 Facilitator: The 504 Facilitator coordinates the 504 processes. 504 enables a student with a physical or mental disability to have a written plan of accommodations. For assistance, please call our guidance counselor, 527-9081 ext. 224.
· EC Program Facilitator: The EC Program Facilitator helps parents understand their rights and the procedures involved in the special education process. For assistance, please call any Exceptional Children Teacher at 527-9081, ext. 237, 237, or 281.
Special Programs English as a Second Language (ESL)
Students who are not native English speakers are screened for ESL services. Please contact the ESL teacher Ronny Henriquez at the school for more information.
The district offers a continuum of gifted services from kindergarten through high school.
The school staff uses K-2 Reading Assessment levels, End-of-Grade test scores and third grade aptitude test scores to identify students for gifted education.
In addition, parents and teachers may nominate students for gifted education at any time by completing a nomination form and submitting it to the school.
