WildCats
appreciate Officer C.
Lovick and The LaGrange Police Department for making
sure that our students always have a safe environment at school.

Mr. Jamie Martin read
Dear Mr. Blueberry
to Kindergarten students
for the Wachovia
Reading First program which is a part of the Wachovia
Education First initiative. This program is designed to promote a love of
reading while encouraging critical thinking skills among
children.

WildCats show support
for our adopted school, Delisle Elementary
in Pass Christian, Mississippi after
Hurricane Katrina in Fall 2005. Students collected money to
help replace school supplies, and sent cards & letters to the
children.
Anyone wishing to make a monetary contribution to this cause can
contact
Ann Williams, school
counselor, at 566-4036 or simply bring your donation to LaGrange
Elementary.

Members of
Neuse Baptist Church in Kinston
donated Christmas gifts for fifty children at La Grange
Elementary. The kindness shown by the church members went out
to children at each grade level, and warmed the hearts of
families and staff members.

Pictured above with some of
the gifts are (l-r) Kelvin Cyrus, former principal, Debbie Smith, counselor, and Kristie Brennan, principal.

The Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church
in La Grange held a school
supply drive during the summer. On September 15, 2005 members of the church
came to La Grange Elementary and presented the supplies to Kelvin Cyrus,
former principal, and Debbie Smith, former counselor. The pastor of the church is Rev. Dr.
Michael A. Johnson.

Pictured with the supplies are: (l-r)
Kelvin Cyrus (Former Principal), Sherry Franklin, Betty Morgan, Elnora Gardner, Rovonda Freeman, and Debbie Smith (Counselor) pictured with several LES
students.

Mr. Cyrus (former principal) and the LaGrange
